The NGS Program Management Director is responsible for ensuring the Profit & Loss (P&L) overall success and full execution of the National Government Services (NGS) contracts with contract revenue of more than $100M and profit expectation of more than $15M. The incumbent serves as the main point of contact and decision maker with Contracting Officer and the Contracting Officer’s Representative as named as key personnel of Program Manager on awarded contracts.

Primary duties may include but not limited to:

  • Responsible for the program management client communications and overall performance of the program ensures that all contractually required deliverables from transition plans to Quality Assurance programs are delivered and met.
  • Develops and maintains client relationships and resolves contract level client questions and concerns contract value growth.
  • Contract scope and growth opportunities are often negotiated face to face with the Government Contracting Officer (both revenue and scope).
  • Position has an annual expected growth goal for opportunities that further grow the contract and improve the overall program.
  • Responsible for administration of contract(s) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) guidelines and the contract requirements, and is required to monitor and validate the program budget.
  • Organize resources from multiple states & functions and forms a developing program structure that continues to evolve based upon the changing needs of the contract along with providing leadership and direction to multiple levels of management.
  • Support business acquisition in bid preparation and implementation of new contracts.
  • Leads and creates innovative solutions as a change agent in Federal Healthcare programs.
  • Experience with transformation of healthcare technology solutions.
  • Exhibits entrepreneurial mindset for growth and innovation for clients.

Qualifications

Requires BS/BA degree; 10+ years related CMS operations experience; 3 years manager experience in managing complex systems work flow processes and associates; 4+ years of related work experience in lieu of the Master’s degree; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Master's Degree preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in customer contact center operations preferred.
  • Knowledge of network and infrastructure technologies preferred.
  • Ability to travel required.
  • Baltimore/DC area preferred.
