JOB SUMMARY

Testing focuses on the technical, creative, and efficient extraction of related data and analysis techniques to ensure quality for prescribed business uses. Knowledge of different database systems and data relationships are critical in this role.

Leads all aspects of data analysis and validation, as well as application functional and automated testing activities for a given effort. Provides leadership in QC and testing within clinical or LOB area. May assist project team with high-level design and/or integration considerations. Leads, mentors and coaches Associate Test Analysts, Technical Test Analysts I & II.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyze functional and data requirements for initiatives that are projected to return significa.t business value, may require a change to enterprise business solution(s).

Develops test approach, test plan and dependencies. Assists with performance and production readiness testing as necessary. Creates and supports automation scripts and scheduling as required.

Defines and writes functional specifications in support of the data quality requirements. Work with Data Owners to understand the data for purposes of technical data analysis and to understand the query related requirements.

Diagnose results and analyze large output datasets for accuracy and integrity across multiple systems; analyze cross-functional impact of changes in relationship to software updates, bug fixes, new releases of software internally or externally developed. Communicates results to IT and key stakeholders. Tracks and verifies any required corrections and ensures completion.

Provide technical direction to QACoE team members; helping to ensure project testing activities are completed on-time and without delivery of critical defects to the field; ensuring team members are properly prepared and enabled to complete their assigned duties.

Provides defect reports and input to final test assessment. Accumulates metrics to track test results and solution quality. Provide project testing metrics and updates to project stakeholders; Lead difficult discussions with stake holders pertaining to project estimates, schedules and critical issues that would prevent go/no go.

Participates in Development planning meetings and communicates with business and IT on the status of testing activities and other assigned activities in meeting project delivery deadlines.

Helps define and implement operational and process improvements for testing activities; enables increase in quality of software delivered for testing through increased visibility of defects and delays.

Performs other duties as assigned

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree - Required

High School Graduate/Equivalent

EXPERIENCE

3 or more years - Required

1 or more years experience in a leadership role - Preferred

Experience using Selenium, Appium, JSON, Cucumber, SQL - Preferred
